Class Description
There is never a dull moment in Music Class. This semester, we will be introducing instrument sounds!! Our 30-minute Family Music experience introduces playful musical activities such as bouncing, wiggle songs, peek-a-boo games, singing, dancing, moving, lullabyes and playing simple instruments. The teacher plays the role of coach as parents play musically with their children. You will find that this class nurtures a bond of love and security, increases your child’s curiosity about music, develops your child’s listening skills and sense of flow and beat through movement, and provides a model for both parent/caregiver and child.
Musikgarten's musical play will:
Help develop a strong musical bond with your child
Bridge the natural connection between music and movement
Enhance your child’s musical aptitude
Lay the foundation for singing and vocal development
Practice focused listening skills
Learn purposeful movement
All Classes include: Singing, listening, movement, playing instruments and practicig rhythm and tonal patterns. Through these activities, your child will learn the lifelong skills of:
listening and responding to music,
matching pitch and refining their voice
and developing a rhythmic body to keep a steady beat.
CLASS PRICING
$35 Registration Fee: includes, (Musikgarten CD--over 40 songs used in the class, 2. parent activity book--ideas for musical play, song lyrics and written music, 3. Jingle Sticks)
$85 Tuition for 10 weeks
