Class Description
Children will use their imaginations for a musical celebration. They will Have fun with drums, dance, songs and rhythms, as they are experiencing musical concepts and building skills which prepare them for later success in playing an instrument and reading music.
This curriculum for preschool and kindergarten students includes singing, creative as well as structured movement, playing instruments and ensemble work, ear training and guided listening. This developmentally sound approach to music literacy builds symbolic thinking, concentration, memory, and self expression. Watch your child begin to learn musical notation, play multiple part ensembles, and learn more complex dances.
In this 30-45 minute class, your child will be engaged in activities that establish a solid music making foundation. This year focuses on your child’s fascination with the seasons and develops a love of instruments. The elements of music reading are explored in fun games, and children begin to recognize the patterns they have been practicing in earlier Musikgarten classes in actual notation.

A deposit of $20 is DUE on registration to hold your child's space in the class. The balance is DUE the first day of class by check or cash. Non-refundable after the second week of class
